I have just returned from a provocative conference at the magnificent Iberostar Hotels and Resorts in beautiful Marrakech, Morocco, where I presented a paper on Women’s Human Rights.

I regret that I shall be missing this stimulating meeting in Fez on "Islamic feminism," a significant human rights issue, against the backdrop of my forthcoming book on Human Rights Conundrums in Islamic North Africa.

I encourage the organizers of the convention to share the proceedings of the important discussions with us and human rights campaigners.
