My problem with a section of the elite in Nigeria(powered by social media)is that they believe that something good can come out of a bad system and then they go about trying to cure symptoms instead of sicknesses.

Let us(everyone)make efforts to engineer a complete system overhaul and the system would begin to produce the desired results.

Expecting a good election outcome for example in a system that is bad is to say the least, the height of mischief or unreasonableness.

Why should anyone even bother explaining. Those who believe the Chief Justice of Nigeria in London to see Tinubu crap have already made up their minds to believe.

This set of people do not do critical thinking. They just believe and start looking for justification for their belief.

They are not wired the way of critical thinking. So please let us let them be.

For them Chief Justice of Nigeria is for Tinubu and must see him in London to collect bribe.

Oga TF,

We need them, at least for their entertainment value.

Before we do justice to this matter of Bola Tinubu's illicit drug conviction in the United States of America, we show first purge of ourselves of emotions and hysteria.

We should also purge ourselves of prejudices.

This means that we should approach the matter with an open mind, obtain a wide range of information on the matter and sit down to analyze(assuming we have the capacity)the information obtained and consequently arrive at a conclusion that would be beyond every reasonable doubts.

Most of the viewpoints I read and hear on this matter are infested with anger, hate, emotions and hysteria.

We even sometimes call on "the international community" to step in.

The same "international community" who sometimes prop up terror and illicit drug kingpins as heads of government in Africa and Latin America in furtherance of their "national Interests".

Thank you for your time.

I stand on the principles that:

(1)If there is no(substantial) evidence, there is no crime.

(2)The onus of proof(of allegations) is solely on those alleging.

(3)Proofs (of allegations) should be "beyond all reasonable doubts".

Thank you all for your time.

There are security situations that do not call for arrests as preliminary measures.

In such situations, security agencies monitor developments, so as to identify and bring into custody the usually elusive big culprits behind such situations.

In such situations, security agencies may also as a preliminary measure, enact a psychological approach in the form of public warnings to prevent perfection and execution of plots. This approach saves resources. It is also less dramatic.

This psychological approach was what the Nigerian Department of State Security (DSS)used in their recent news release about an interim government plot.

Always read between the lines.

Always ponder what you read.

The persons in the recently leaked phone call are not actually saying that the discussion in the audio did not take place.

They are actually saying that the call was "doctored".

Well, but which aspects were "doctored"?

Enquiring minds needs to know.

Before we rush to absolve Chimamanda Ngozi Adiche of the allegation of plagiarism, let us first examine in details the allegation made by Anne Giwa-Amu, the alleged victim.

Let us peruse the alleged victim's referenced work titled "Sade" which was published earlier than Adichie's "Half of A Yellow Sun".

We should also peruse Adichie's "Halfway Of A Yellow Sun".

These actions would hopefully get us to the bottom of the matter.

Thank you all for your time.

The ability to analyze and interpret information makes a whole lot of difference in the management of information.

The Guinean Embassy In Nigeria did not say that the purported Bola Tinubu Guinean passport is diplomatic passport as being reported by a section of the Nigeria news media.

Responding to enquiry about the authenticity or otherwise of the said passport, the Embassy most likely took a look at the photo of the prototype of the purported(diplomatic) passport and responded that only the Presidency of their country issue such passports and that as a result, they are not in position and so would not confirm the authenticity of that purported(diplomatic) passport.

Thank you.

Conflicts unfortunately are part of international diplomacy.

There are forces behind the conflict in Sudan with the attendant Interests, the two contending warlords are just proxies.

When the real forces behind the conflict are identified and appeased (temporarily or permanently), there would be ceasefire or permanent cessation.

Thanks.

Quotations, phrases, etc, should be interpreted within contexts. There is always a context.

Therefore, Bola Tinubu's "I owe you nothing" to Nyesom Wike should be interpreted within the context in which the comment was made.

What was the context?

Bola Tinubu as President-elect was invited by Governor Wike to commission over head bridges(flyovers) built by the state government on federal roads in Port Harcourt.

The over head bridges ideally should have been built by the federal government. The state government however built those bridges hoping to get refunded, as is the practice, by the federal government.

During the commissioning, the Rivers state governor made a comment that Rivers state people supported Tinubu in his presidential quest so that he(Tinubu) would refund them the funds expended in building the over head bridges.

The president-elect, mindful of his status and not willing to encumber his yet to be inaugurated Presidency, made the comment which have mostly been interpreted out of context on social media.

Thank you all for your time.
