Unfortunately, with regard to the report about antiSemitism in the US, I was still thinking about how the situation in Ukraine and how all of this is impacting the rest of the world, so I responded to my Pan -.Africanist Brother from Ghana:
I fear that on the whole, the Muslims might well mobilise against Zelensky
He seemed to be astounded :

You mean the Neo- Nazis?
Well, the way I see it, Syria and Iran are Russia’s main allies in the Middle East, and as we may have noticed, Israel, Uncle Sam’s most faithful servant and ally in that neighbourhood is in no hurry to offend Russia by showing up as Uncle Sam’s most faithful lackey. Israel does not want to offend Russia - that would be very risky business indeed and Brer Bennet is not prepared to enter into that kind of adventure because it would jeopardise Israel's proclaimed sovereignty over the Golan Heights.
As we all know, the Sunni don’t like the Shia, and the Shia, sure don’t love the Sunni; on the whole, both the Shia and the Sunni don’t like the Zionist regime or "the Zionist entity" and in that respect, there's a unity of purpose. a common enemy.
As Tom Lehrer puts it in National Brotherhood Week
Oh the Protestants hate the Catholics
And the Catholics hate the Protestants
And the Hindus hate the Muslims
So, my hunch is that the Muslims would not like to see the emergence of another successful and powerful Jewish leader, e.g. in Ukraine, with strong military ties to Israel.
Of course, I’m aware that it’s a little more complicated than that…

I don’t remember Baba Kadiri’s exact reply to this hypothetical question:
If Nigeria were to be invaded by e.g Cameroon or Ghana, should it be OK to integrate Boko Haram fighters into the Nigerian army’s resistance?
Not to mention the likely integration of other armed bandits, the much-maligned Fulani Herdsmen, and assorted, nondescript ransom kidnappers; into Federal Nigeria’s armed resistance. Probably not such a bad idea, after all, looters, unrepentant and unconvicted criminals fighting and dying in defence of Beloved Motherland. As Nathan Hale famously said on September 22, 1776, before he was hanged for spying on British troops, “I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country”
And that’s not the moral or immoral equivalent of Zelensky integrating Ukraine's Neo Nazis Azov Battalion into Ukraine's national army. In the history of this planet and in the making of empires, the founding of great nations, the demarcation of state borders and so on, land has often been known to change hands/ ownership, mostly through wars of conquest, therefore, understandably, in his fight over territorial sovereignty and “territorial integrity”, in this his fight against his enemies it’s possibly not anathema for Zelensky to make a pact with Lucifer himself if need be, even get some moral support and some lethal weapons on credit from Beelzebub - shoot now, pay later, as was the case with Saddam vs Iran, all in fulfilment of the wisecrack, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend”
And this question is to everybody: If you’re drowning and the devil reaches out a helping hand to save you, would you accept such an offer of salvation? I know the pastor’s readymade answer to that one: “For what doth it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, and suffers the loss of his own soul?”
In some parts of postcolonial and neo-colonial Africa, there’s the general complaint about so many diverse ethnicities being welded together into e.g the amalgamation known as Nigeria, whilst some other people are still groaning about “colonial boundaries“ currently dividing formerly whole nations, and because of that what they foresee as future border conflicts/disputes - as if there’s nothing they can do about it.
Some nations are fortunate enough to have founding myths such as Oduduwa the founder of the Yoruba nation, the Ashanti have The Golden Stool, fast forward to Modern Nigeria and the origins of Biafra as a good idea with Emeka Ojukwu.
Ukraine too fits into some of these categories, pre and post-dissolution of what was once the Soviet Union. There are parallel unions such as the European Union, the Commonwealth, the Arab League, and the OIC, of which Nigeria is the most populous member.
I always get an uncanny feeling every time Zelensky says “ Israel “, and it’s something like an ancient Biblical reaction, nostalgic if you will - a response to the root of what the Russia-sympathetic Mahmoud Abbas says is Zionism in his PhD thesis granted by the Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow: “ The Other Side: The Secret Relationship Between Nazism and Zionism” and perhaps at the heart of Vladimir Putin’s vow to denazify Ukraine
The Biblical response to charges of Zionism is directly from
(1) The Stone Edition of the Chumash introduction to Genesis :

Therefore, the nations of the world could not possibly accuse the Jewish people of being “robbers” merely due to the fact that they seized the land of Canaan.
Rather, the nations’ complaint is that the Jewish people have transformed the land permanently to be an essentially Jewish one, precluding any nation from identifying it as their own at any future time.
Even if the land will be conquered by another nation, it will remain the “Land of Israel” and Jewish people will refer to it as their own, perceiving the loss of the land as a temporary “exile.” For after Jewish conquest and inhabitation, the land became holy, uniquely Jewish at its very essence, remaining associated with the Jewish people forever.”
