The Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) requires your expertise in its accreditation as a national partner of Transparency International (TI). Corruption is widespread in Nigeria. While there are individual in civil society organizations devoted to the subject. However, the size of the country and the difficult topic lead to a fragmentation of activities. Therefore, it needs a coordinating organization in the fight against corruption. CISLAC wants to take in coordination with other civil society organizations that function. The current political and social conditions appear conducive for this purpose, because the new government under President Buhari has made ​​the fight against corruption at its core concerns.

These are your tasks:

  • Assistance in setting up and implementation of a coordination structure for civil society partners
  • Support in building local expertise to contribute to global reports and studies by Transparency International
  • Conducting training
  • Support for the acquisition of funding

Your skills:

  • University degree as a political scientist, social scientist or other appropriate qualifications for the job
  • Several years of professional experience in anti-corruption in civil society and government institutions
  • Experience in the acquisition of funds
  • Fluent English
  • Ideally, basic French
