hi gloria
great article. one caveat. it stakes one obvious point, that the statistics should be taken with a grain of salt for obvious reasons, and then goes on citing statistics as though they were perfectly credible.
in the end, it poses great questions: given what seems to be true, that the infection rate really is lower, and i suppose the death rate is lower, why is that the case. at that point the article gets better and better. really interesting stuff.
and in the end, something to actually celebrate!

“The mask is to protect my pocket,” he said. “The police demand bribes so I lose money if I don’t move around with a mask.”

The sense of humor or suffering and smiling may be helping along with the tendency to spend more time at home. The hypothesized co-morbidity of malaria and Ebola deserves to be more closely studied and tested with indigenous knowledge systems.

I guess the writers want to eat their breakfast in the morning and
have it for dinner.😁

Greetings from Tanzania/Zanzibar, this is real as life goes on here, but we need actual data to really understand why - and when to brace for another wave.

Best Regards,

Chambi
