Created in 2006 under the laws of Zambia, the Southern African Institute for Policy and Research (SAIPAR) is an independent, educational, research and development oriented research center. Through research, publications, documentation, seminars and dialogue facilitation, the Institute aims to contribute to improved policy making, research capacity and governance. The Southern African Institute for Policy and Research disseminates its research and information about its programmes in several forms:
The SAIPAR Occasional Papers Series makes available new research being conducted within the Southern African subregion, as well as commentary on political, economic, social, and legal issues.
The Southern African Journal of Policy and Development is a forthcoming online journal of short articles, commentaries, and reviews across a wide range of theoretical and practical legal, political, economic, social, and development policy issues.
The Zambia Social Science Journal is an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal focused on scholarly work in the social sciences and development.
