Personality: Professor Joseph Adeniyi olowofela. He has come a long way from Hawking Akara on the streets of omi adio an economically challenged area of ibadan with about three hundred villages. The first geo physicist from omi adio, he represents hope for his people.in fact one of his schools is named HOPE. Professor olowofela adeniyi is an embodiment of what the universty stands for- Teaching,Research and community.he had excelled in all three. From being the co founder of the physics student's association university of ibadan,today he has just being appointed member of the federal character commission of nigeria. He is an ex commissioner of education of the pace setting oyo state.
