An example of Agoziem's art demonstrating her
understanding of indigenous Igbo cosmology as "Ọdịnala, the
complete Igbo worldview, grounded in an understanding of the land and nature,
and in principles that guide people to live in harmony with their environment,
including the beliefs and values that shape life and maintain order''.
This idea is expressed in terms of an animistic depiction of Earth, known as the feminine divine figure Ala in Igbo. Human dwellings are supported by her form, as trees grow out of her, an ecological tableau crowned by the majesty of the sky, the sun poised in golden luminescence as clouds float in regal elevation, birds in flight completing the image of celestial grandeur, against the background of Agoziem's signature black and white visual surfaces, a pattern of dots suggesting both contemplative stillness and dynamism.
On the back of the figure are the Igbo words ''okike'' and ''ndu'', textual elements that deepen and amplify the communicative and philosophical significance of the work. Such inscriptions are characteristic of Orji’s artistic practice, in which visual imagery, language, spirituality, and philosophy converge to create multilayered meanings.
