Why blame the tiny mosquitoes just because they are getting a revenge from the ears that refused to marry them and so have to suffer slaps forever? The know-it-all Europeans did not feel humble enough to ask Indigenous Peoples what knowledge they used to survive malaria for thousands of years to the extent that millions of them survived to discover Columbus as he was lost at sea, claiming that he was going west to reach east. He mad, for the millions were reduced to a few thousands in the twinkle of an eye. We can still recover the indigenous technologies and update them for the benefit of all today as the wise mosquitoes update their resistance to quinine that comes from the barks of trees that native Americans used to treat the parasite. Yes, there can be mosquitoes without the parasites and we can figure out how to eliminate the parasites without killing every mosquito with DDT..
