Kamala Harris is the underdog (with the comment “most students and employees at her alma mater Howard University know her as a “phony”)
Talking about a future Mighty President of the USA and the first woman to ever be that ?
From my point of view, if she had married a soul brother ( soul-to-soul) , that would have been 100% OK ( Like Bro Obama & his Michelle)
BTW, I was surprised to see Joe Biden who had allegedly been in seclusion, recovering from COVID, showing a suntanned face ( more suntanned than Kamala’s ) and yapping about saving, not himself from the personal ignominy of defeat, but saving democracy.

I don’t know who wrote Biden’s address but that line ( “but I love my country more.”) echoes this one from Brutus’ funeral oration in which he says, “ Not that I loved Caesar less, but that I loved Rome more.”
In Biden’s case the Caesar in question is obviously Donald Trump who luckily escaped the assassin’s bullet.

I was expecting this kind of speech from the Joe Biden, that he just quit the race only to throw down the gauntlet :
“Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more ”,
before pushing the nuclear button or passing on the baton to his chosen one, his prospective new commander-in-chief, Commander Kamala Harris.
As Vladimir Zhirinovsky the late Russian ultranationalist once said,” I do not respect a country that has a woman as its Minister of Defence”. Those who are less faint at heart might be wondering, not even someone who is an Amazon?
What about this list of famous female warriors ? And what about this other list of female heads of state ? Despite all the hype about democracy, “leader of the free world”, women's liberation, feminism etc, up till today, none of them are US-American? The US has yet to produce the first female president, speak less of the first black female president. And let's be real : Kamala Harris is no Barack Obama, She might smile and smile but doesn’t have the charm .
As we can tell by Kamala Harris’ record as state prosecutor in California - even shuffering & shmiling Jim Clyburn must admit that to all intents and purposes when push comes to shove Kamala is capable of being a little less draconian and more Amazonian, less “Iron Lady” of the Civilised Margaret Thatcher type and perhaps, more like Hilary Clinton?
Missing in action presently, is Iran’s Mahmoud Ahmadinejad - for the potential ribaldry and taunting that was his trademark and his forte - I presume, beginning with Shakespeare's ”frailty thy name is woman” - and - if you accuse Shakespeare of “sexism” then why not also accuse the authors of the Hebrew Bible / TANAKH and the so called New Testament for the same sexism as variously defined, to be found therein, since, apparently sexism is a sin whether it is holy virgins beginning with the very first one, Eve, the mother of the human family or in contrast with all the later villains such as Delilah and Kamala ?
Also missing in action currently, Charles Taylor, the former Americo-Liberian president of Liberia who shortly before his demise was boasting that he was not going to be taking any orders from any “White boy, in the White House”. Given the Liberian lingo as his mother tongue, flash forward to some uncanny future and we shouldn’t put it past him to be referring to “ the pussy in the White House” and him not going to be taking any marching orders from her .
Honestly, it was after listening to Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to the US Congress, several hours earlier, that it first occurred to me that ( a) there are those who are prepared to sleep with the devil incarnate in order to be elected, (b) that everybody is responsible for their own enlightenment and their own salvation , and that includes those who believe that “Jesus died for our sins”, and those who listened to Old Joe Biden last night ( nicely made up , with a studio suntan) and started to sing, “ I can hear a heavenly band full of angels, and they're coming to set me free” and supposing that the band in question is the Democrat Party of the United States led by their Chief Angel , Kamala Harris of Brahmin pedigree and of Jahmaican ancestry, that her great grandfather used to own slaves etc and that she’s now on the mission to set the captives free , all according to Who is Kamala Harris? A disturbing and haunting record.
And how do you like that ?
