Re:shagari and buhari :Nasir El rufai and Obafemi Awolowo . Buhari and shagari.strategy for terrorists

I see Dan agrees veteran journalist writing  in the Guardian  of nigetia today of shagari and buhari.this is my take on the matter.

On september 22 1978 the unity  party of nigeria was founded  by Obafemi Awolowo .

Exactly  28 years later Nasir El rufai write a  letter in the tone  of Awolowos  celebrated  letter  to presudent  SHEHU shagari. 

Awolowo  wrote  inter  alia that the economy " aiils critically ".Awolowo  also did state" do you  ask yourself  the question, cui bono?"

President  shehu shagari replied  in an unexpected  manner.He said  when he asks himself questions  he does so in hausa or English  and not in Latin. 

Whereas it was around the same time of rufai letter  that first lady   Aisha Buhari raised some issues  about the state of the nation  and president buhari made his now infamous  remark about the first lady  belonging  to the kitchen.the living room  and the other room.

obafemii awolowo according to the historians  was the chief strategist during the Nigetian civil war for the nigerian head of state  General  yskubu Gowon.

History  seems to be repeating itself with  nasir el rufai prescribing a strategy  to the military ,see punch  feburary 24 2022 ,to contain  the terrorists  in Kaduna  which is a small  nigeria.a melting pot of nigeria 🇳🇬
