Dear Colleagues
My name is Anna Catalani and I'm an academic based in the UK. I'm working on a piece of research that looks at the ways in which Ibeji figures are used and ritualised now in diasporic contexts (primarily in the UK and USA). I'm interested in understanding whether 1) Ibeji figures are still used by the Yoruba diaspora in the UK and/or USA 2) if this is the case, how the rituals/practices associated with them have changed throughout the time and 3) if there are contemporary festivals in diasporic contexts (Uk and USA) associated with Ibeji figures. I hope to receive some replies to my questions or some suggestions.
