And I am certain that many of us here have seen and read Omer Bartov’s courageous and appropriate op-ed in the New York Times entitled “I am a Genocide Scholar, I know it When I See It”.
I am also a genocide scholar. I agree with Bartov. I know Bartov, and when he speaks or writes on a topic of this gravity, and about a genocide with this impunity, he does so with command and credibility. He is Israeli-American scholar of Holocaust and
Genocide Studies. No one can accuse him of being “antisemitic” for writing “truth to power” on what scholars of genocide studies call “the crime of crimes.”
