On the next Sabbath ( 26th October) starts the next annual cycle of the reading of the Torah, with the first chapter of the first book, Beresheit / Genesis which tallies with the Christian and Islamic understanding of the beginning.

Verily, because of the ongoing wars and rumours of war, in these days of science and technology, and the demonic wizardry of ballistic missile strikes and rumours of potential nuclear annihilation strikes and possible nuclear retaliation = MAD = Mutually Assured Destruction, and because of the various religion-based eschatologies mostly beginning with the big hullabaloo that started with the alleged resurrection and posthumous bodily ascension of spaceman/ astronaut/cosmonaut Jesus through the stratosphere and said to be currently sitting at the right hand side of his Almighty Father in Heaven, that heralded the rise and like wildfire the missionary spread and conquests of Christian-ity, the spiritual descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob plodding on and waiting for the end, abiding by ” You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to desist from it” - the advancement of Christianity in the Middle East checkmated by the rise of Islam and Islam’s own end time certainty that “The Hour will not begin until you fight the Jews, until a Jew will hide behind a rock or a tree, and the rock or tree will say: ‘O Muslim, O slave of Allah, here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him – except the gharqad (a kind of thorny tree).”
