Ironically this university's landscape is vast and scenic, ideal for cycling.
But the landscape does not have cycle paths and cycling might be stigmatized, associated with poverty.
The University of Cambridge, on the other hand, which does not have anything near the landscape of OAU, in tandem with the city its in, has a strong cycling culture.
I wonder what the budget of the entire city of Ife and the OAU university is to that of Cambridge and its university, yet in a rich city in a much wealthier country, cycling is much valued, while at OAU there is likely to be no such culture.
