this is not written in a way that inspires confidence that it is a reputable, credible source.
in fact, the source for the information proffered in the piece is called..."the source"....
to be more pointed, if you can read 419 emails and dismiss them in 2 seconds, you should be doing the same with this one.

Corrected:

Among Muslims, the grandson of the prophet of Islam (S.a.w.)  Imam Husayn (a.s) //Husayn ibn 'Alī ibn Abī Taleb (r.a) is widely regarded as the Prince of Martyrs and  along with his brother Hassan (r.a.) have been  given the title Leaders of the youths of paradise

May the two suhada / martyrs , the two assassinated Shia muminun, Sheik Muhammad Turi and  Ibrahim Usman  be granted Jannah, their families comforted and  the Shia strengthened by the Almighty  of whom it is written la hawla wala quwwata illa billahil aliyyil adheem

Some people cannot see the invisible wind but can feel it blowing, cannot see electricity but know that it’s flowing, not to mention more subtle than electricity the spirit and the thoughts and prayers of man that also flow and leave the body for the Hereafter, through the door through which the soul leaves the body.  Fools don’t understand or know that door but will soon do so and in the state of mind that we are in when we die, proceed to continue the journeying in the Hereafter, where the suffering will not necessarily be accompanied by any Shmiling.

Somebody “gave command and all smiles stopped”. Who’s next?  Not Ali Shariati

I have not read beyond the headline and cannot vouchsafe the reliability of the sources of this report but whoever is behind the assassinations, it’s a sad, cold day for Nigeria, that in order to  further destabilise, Nigeria and in their quest to break the nation state (as they have done and are doing elsewhere) some evil forces want to precipitate an endless cycle of revenge killings between Sunni and Shia - who have in common the same Prophet ( s.a.w),  the same Holy Book - the Quran , and the same qibbla…

Many religions echo the commandment Thou shalt not kill , but as Donovan lamented in Universal Soldier

“ And he knows he shouldn't kill,

And he knows he always will”

Marcus Garvey said Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our minds! - and there vwe have it!

Let us pray for peace and not war - nobody wants Nigeria to look like Afghanistan, Syria, Libya or Iraq, in the coming years.

Professor Harrow,

It’s tragic. Criminal.

 Here are various other reports:

Sheikh Muhammad Turi of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, sons and spokesman killed

Of course when the source starts linking MOSSAD and CI of A to this episode then that source is suspect. It’s not as if it was in any way a covert operation ….

The Islamic Movement / the Shia in Nigeria are such a tiny minority and most obviously pose no serious challenge to the Sunni majority - although the Sunni majority everywhere, hate the Shia for vilifying many of the Sahaba and the prophet’s wife Aisha (r.a)… that’s partly the crux of the matter…

Professor Harrow,
What aspect of the report should be dismissed in 2 seconds? Is it the killings, the army invasion or the MOSSAD/CIA aspect? You should have been more specific.

Anyway, when the story was sent in by a citizen reporter, we felt that the MOSSAD/CIA aspect would be problematic. We also felt that it was not impossible. We did not also expect the reporter to name MOSSAD/CIA sources.

Thanks all the same for commenting.

hi chidi
from the first few words and sentences it seemed made-up, and when it
said "source," it really seemed improbable. didn't it seem that way to
you? anyway, how do you measure credibility? if the source were mossad
or cia, would they have provided this info? why is cia misidentified
consistently?

Professor Harrow,
I do not think that we should go on arguing on this. The citizen reporter quoted un-named MOSSAD/CIA sources, we at chidi opara reports neither believed nor disbelieved him. We published the report on the premises that such MOSSAD/CIA involvement is not impossible and that reporters are not expected to name certain sources. My last on this.

CAO.
