because of this : Trump doubles down on Greenland 

His argument boils down to “Might is right”  -  

take note and wise  up : in this vale of tears 

might equals economic clout (tariffs) 

AND MILITARY POWER.

So, what are you gonna do about it?

And , if we’re we’re not careful , next thing we will hear him announcing ( hollering) from the Oval Office in The White House : “I wanna to grab Nigeria   - I’ve got to  to grab Nigeria”, and in the majestic plural, “We must grab Nigeria - we’ve got to grab them because they can’t defend themselves from the terrorists” -  - no mention of oil, no mention of human capital and other natural resources, and as a rationale, he will be chirping like Baby Bush - his fellow Republican : “ You’re either with us or you’re with the terrorists ! “  - and by  “us”, of course the MAGA-maniac Trump means the US - in the name of “AMERICA FIRST !”

I thank monotheism’s one and only omniscient & omnipotent Almighty  

that Trump was ruled out RAPE - the use of overwhelming force in wanting to grab Greenland. But what remains troubling is the possibility of a referendum in Greenland in which some heavy financial rewards - an inducement of sorts , say $ 300,000 per head as - another “ an offer you can't refuse” could be offered the 57, 000 population and if the majority nodded “ yes”, that could be another feather in Trump’s ”The Art of The Deal “

Who can trust the mercurial Trump who says one thing this moment and is capable of changing his mind completely a few minutes later ? 

This morning (Central European time ) the latest intelligence was that because of the kinds of plans he was announcing about the future of Greenland, the Senate was threatening to remove him from office by invoking Amendment 25

Moments later, Trump must have buckled, probably sweating ( perspiring)  under the weight of that threat and by this afternoon, DAVOS time, the good news was that he had completely repented on the matters of tariffs and the use of military force in Greenland  if necessary…

To understand or digest how Trump’s mind and spirit work simultaneously (joyfully/seriously/dramatically most of the time) READ (fully and analytically, critically THE ART OF THE DEAL. Note that Davos does not know what matters to the people of Naija’s Benin City or Warri or Port Harcourt or Ajegunle (“Eko”) or Kano or Jos or Akure or Abuja or Oshogbo or Ilorin or Calabar or Oyo or Abeokuta or Aba or Onitsha or Ogbomosho, Nsukka, etc. THOSE who continue to underestimate or ignore certain DEEP and practical Trumpian CHESS-GAME-moves do so at their own risks.
