It’s been a long time comingÂ
The fact is that even Europe has to wake up and smell or shmell the nauseating, unpleasant truth that there’s something rotten - not in Shakespeare's Denmark but in Volodymyr Zelensky’s Ukraine : Incontrovertibly true: Zelensky is corrupt  and full of itÂ
He is, has been, and he knows it. So does his former buddy, sleepy Joe Biden and so does everybody .
It’s simple psychology đź‘Ť The moment that the elite around him are convinced that he has become a liability and that he’s not going to be able to deliver anymore for himself , for them or for the people, it’s known as collective responsibility : They are going to get rid of him, they’re going to ditch him - there’s going to be a coup - he’s going to be displaced and replaced - just as in 1997, when Bill Clinton said to Mobutu who was still sitting on his hands and hoping against hope in Kinshasa, while the mining companies were standing in line in Kisangani where Kabila was awarding them mining permits, Bill Clinton said to Mobutu, ”You’ve been our crook for a long time, now, either you go quietly or we kick your ass ! ”     Â
Mobutu went quietly. He first took refuge with his friend in Togo - that’s where he first got temporary political asylum. Just as with the late Shah of Iran, NOBODY wanted to have him. A few weeks later they were auctioning his gold all over the place, UN vehicles driving around with the loot, including in the Gambia, getting rid of his gold at half price…
The prayer Elohai Netzor begins,

Easier said than done. Zelensky might think that he’s still holding the cards, that he has still not signed the deal ; in which case what he still does not realise is that the minerals do not belong to him personally , and that Trump was actually doing him a favour, since, signing the deal obviously is an assertion of Ukraine’s sovereignty over that minerals estate - pre-empting any further dispute about “territorial integrity”; Zelensky will soon realise that if he doesn’t want to sign the deal there are others who will, the moment he’s out of the way, at which moment whether he resigns or not, he should be planning the somewhere where he’s going to get the best deal for political asylum. I suppose the UK? Poland ? Somewhere from where he’s not going to be extradited to face corruption charges. But he may be a lucky dude like Mr. Netanyahu. There’s no immediate threat of facing the music of corruption charges swirling around him at the moment…             Â
From the moment that Trump, the leader of our free world first referred to the puny former comedian as a dictator, we should have all seen it coming : THE END OF ZELENSKYÂ

As Zelensky is aware, in approaching the Divine Majesty, before saying Shemoneh Esrei  there’s the tradition of first taking three steps backwards and then three steps forward…not that I’m remotely suggesting the appropriate behaviour in the presence of the Divine Majesty in the synagogue or at home, should correspond to the kind of behaviour that’s demanded in the Oval Office / White House when meeting Trump face to face, but last night , in front of the whole world what Zelensky the supplicant manifested, was not exactly humility, nor was it what the devil’s dictionary defines as abasement either. For one awful moment I was sure that Trump was going to tell Zelensky to go to hell , or worse still, to shut the fuck upÂ
Former comedian Zelensky’s performance at the White House yesterday wasn’t at all funny, and it started out so nicely, nice guy Trump praising his guest , and about having previously called him out as a dictator, Trump smelling the contract / deal for minerals, smiled and asked politely, “Did I really say that?” and so Zelensky thought that Trump had been feeling some remorse, had repented and was apologising about having referred to him as The Great Dictator who wants to make Ukraine Great Again, but as the evening progressed to Act 3, the former comedian was already beginning to be feeling too big for his boots - and just at the point where Trump was singing rhetorically, “Yes, and how many deaths will it take till he knows that too many people have died ?”, that’s when in his broken English , with a thick Yiddish accent the comedian turned people's president started lashing out at Trump, that he wants to win the war - and to make matters worse, he was more or less throwing Old man Biden’s argument in Trump’s face that Trump should accept that if need be he Zelensky and his people are prepared to fight to the last man - Zelensksy himself of course willingly being that last man and not the next man to die for his country and that’s why one of the British commentators doing a post-mortem on last night said,  Zelensky is no Churchill : Poor Zelensky of course did not have the chance or the oratorical skills to launch into his own maiden Ukrainian War speech, We shall fight, we shall never surrender

It was not Bill Clintion but Bill Richardson  that gave Mobutu the ultimatum,“You’ve been our crook for a long time, now, either you go quietly or we kick your ass ! ”     Â
Zelensky is now toast. He should have known better than to start arguing with Trump and Vance, in front of the TV cameras and the assembled world press, being aggressive, sarcastic, and rude, cutting them off in mid-sentenceÂ
