This is why we keep speaking against bastardizing institutions, especially, institutions of administration of justice.

Institutions and individuals in Nigeria should not create situations in which Justice and other systemic protections would be difficult to obtain from the normal channels.

The action of the man in(allegedly) stoning and damaging a part of the Imo state governor's jeep in Ohaji was unlawful, so would the imminent mass revolt be.

He was most likely not sent to do what he did by anyone, it was most likely a spontaneous solo act occasioned by systemic frustrations.

While some of us can bear the frustration of the denial of justice and other protections, many cannot.

Sending this one to prison (as is likely going to be the case) would not solve the problem. What if the others like him have access to guns or bombs?

Many of his type are out there waiting to vent their frustrations on the system that denies them justice and other protections.

Governor Uzodimma may have been just a victim of circumstance.
