Some of us intuit and can imagine how as the humanist and the mensch that he was, he would have been weighing in on some of the issues that presently engage us - the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians, the war on Gaza, ostensibly on Hamas, further land grabs in the name of religion (stealing land in God's holy name), the kidnapping and incarceration of over 10,000 Palestinians on the West Bank, the war on Lebanon, ostensibly on Hezbollah, the Second Coming of Trump (Kamala losing 10 million votes compared to Biden’s showing in 2020), updates from Tariq Ali and Bro Vj Benzon ( a great drummer), and last but not least, asking you what’s the right answer to this question that concerns us all : Who Is Authorizing Biden's Nuclear Brinkmanship While The President's Brain Is Missing?

And from there to the First World War and the Dissolution of the Ottoman Empire, the Second World War, “ Hitler’s Mufti “ (so-called), The Balfour Declaration etc. the Arab–Israeli conflict, fast forward, The Satanic Verses and the fatwa on Solomon Rushdie & his publishers, condemning them all to death (1989) , First Intifada (1987 -1993) Samuel P. Huntington’s seminal The Clash of Civilisations (1996) which initially impacted Western Consciousness greatly, Second Intifada (2000 -2005) and in the middle of the 2nd Intifada and not wholly disconnected from it, the great shit happened, a super Islamic terrorist event: The September 11 attacks (2001) followed by George W. Bush’s ultimatum : " We are a peaceful nation : Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists”; the subsequent wars on Iraq and Afghanistan in tandem with several Islamic terrorist attacks in Europe and as far as the so-called Islamic Terrorism is concerned there’s always a running commentary and the latest updates available at this website

The same elements in the West seem to be impervious to Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International reports on the plight of Palestinians
There are these other unasked and unanswered questions :
How do you dispel the above mentioned realities that are now deeply rooted in the West’s imagination and historical consciousness/ sense of history ?
Should the West understand Islamic Terrorism so called, as an aberration or as an enemy of Civilisation?
There’s a school of thought that believes the so-called West - now the European Union and the rest , where pork is the best of the West have their most recent roots in the Holy Roman Empire, ( now resurrected as The European Union & Allies) what the erudite Anthony Burgess says “the Jews” once defined as “The Kingdom of the Wicked“, in his novel of the same title and here’s the very first paragraph that defines that kingdom , according to him :
