By Chidi Anthony Opara

I am on transit,
I am on earth to peel off scalls
And become a god,
A representative of God.
I am not bothered
By bigots trying
To force feed me with doctrines.

I do not smell
The whiff of death now,
I relish living.

I have no grudges,
I apologize for offences caused.

My hopes
Are heaped on the Almighty
Whose mouthpiece I am
And whose representative I will become.

I crave for long life,
I crave for good health
And other paraphenalias of long life.

Death
I will submit to when Divinity wills.

I have my say,
But not always my way.

I await a glorious exit
When the Almighty wills.

My epitaph will read
"Here lies he who held no grudges".
Let them take note,
Those who would write my epitaph.
