#BREAKING: Resolutions of ASUU-NEC meeting held from Tuesday night to early hours of Wednesday has emerged! The resolutions are as follows.
➡️The #40 billion Earned Academic Allowances was remitted to universities bursaries as at yesterday.
➡️The Government reassured the striking lecturers that the UTAS is in the last stage of the integrity test.
➡️All lecturers have been paid two months salaries as agreed
➡️#30 billion naira for revitalization would be paid before 2020 runs out
➡️ ASUU President said the union is happy with the way government has handled the issues.
➡️ASUU-NEC meeting ended in positive resolutions, but decisions are strictly withheld from the general public for now
➡️It was agreed that the ASUU President is to give a detailed press conference on Wednesday (today) morning.
➡️ ASUU-NEC however agreed that should the FG renege on its promises, the union won't hesitate to go back to it's harsh methods of industrial actions.
➡️ ASUU-NEC regrets all inconveniences caused during the strike and reaffirmed that it was done in the interest of the general public.
