A good place to begin since an alternative to Trump proposing US military intervention is the role that the UN could play: If we can learn anything from history, a good place to begin would be with Kofi Annan and the Rwandan Genocide ; we could learn useful lessons from that tragic episode of someone dragging his feet

Trump has spoken, and whether we believe his word is truth or not, there’s cause for worry, in some quarters, dread, fear and trembling, for as a good Nigerian Christian will tell you, “ We know not the hour” ( of the Lord’s coming) , or when the embattled bad boi Trump, embroiled in Nigerian matters and - waist-deep , currently soaked in the Epstein scandal , we know not when he is going to strike, not least of all as a distraction and relief and if possible an escape from the domestic pressure that’s increasing upon him, like a noose, slowly closing him in, so that he will soon be “ boxed in, nowhere to escape”
He should rest assured that Jesus knows what’s going on , and what has been going on among those holed up enjoying themselves at their friend Epstein's sex jamborees/parties. That fun and games could have all wound up like this :
For some it looks like they think that Trump has some kind of divine or inalienable right to just do as he pleases, just go in and bomb another sovereign country named Nigeria, no worries about international law, because whether it’s Nigeria or Venezuela, if he thinks that's the right thing to do, then “might is right.” For example, without any reservations or qualms about the unlawfulness in what Trump's threatening -that it will be "Fast, Vicious & Sweet", in his own version of waxing patriotic Pastor Enoch Adeboye is advising the Nigerian Government to petition Trump to delay the attack by at least 100 days, for 100 days grace. What would Jesus have said ? “Take up your cross and follow me"? “Those who use the sword will perish by the sword” ?
Indeed, all of a sudden everybody is talking, ordinary long-suffering Nigerians, politicians, and not least, Nigerian religious leaders are weigh in heavily on the alleged Christian Genocide In Nigeria …. also the fanatics of all stripes and religious hues that pervade the Nigerian Social Media are already in the trenches…

Minister Louis Farrakhan likes to talk about, the sin of sinful misinformation must be regarded as a cardinal sin and a great evil in whatever society. What one has in mind to question, is the veracity and verifiability of the report that over 614,000 Nigerians were killed between May 2023 and April 2024 because that figure is too astronomical, it’s too astounding : if we are to believe that was the death toll for eleven months, what could the death toll have been for the past twenty years?
