why BUY books? BY Augustine  Togonu-Bickersteth     
1  To show off
2 To give the publisher cash flow so that he or she could bring out more quality boooks.so that the publisher cam look at other manuscripts.
3   to mark milestones, including rites of passage
4 To buy for those who cannot afford it but would benefit from reading
5 To create employment because it takes a whole village to publish a book. Security? what goes round comes round.
6 to satisfy curiosity
7 To review
8  To leave a legacy
9 to decorate the environment
10 To feed the Brain
