So what is all the sanctimonious twaddle about ?

Baba Kadiri, where is your sense of Buddhist compassion?
Understandably,
After investing and spending heavily
On winning the presidential elections
And after failing and losing so utterly
So miserably, In utter sympathy Atiku
Can now be clinically diagnosed as suffering
Seriously, after the presidential elections
Shuffering from Post-Elections Traumatic Stress Disorder
Fritz Perls opined that “To suffer one's death and to be reborn is not easy”
To translate that psycho-speak into the kind of political jargon (babble) that his big english scribe could comprehend, we’ve got to look at it like this: The last Presidential Election in Nigeria was a do or die affair for Alhaji Atiku. The grave reality for him was that take it or leave it, this was most definitely his last chance. At 76 years of age and not getting any younger, if willy-nilly he didn’t grab the party nomination this time around he would probably not be in a position to grab the nomination four years later by which time he would be an eighty-year old wannabe - so by hook or by crook, but mostly by crook, in desperation he decided to seize the nomination and to hell with e.g. that Christian boy, Southern upstart Peter Obi and to hell too with, zoning and power-rotation in the PDP
BTW I could hear Alhaji Atiku Abubakar singing, like Jimmy Cliff ( ( The Harder they Come) :
Well, they tell me of a pie up in the sky
Waiting for me when I die
But between the day you're born and when you die
They never seem to hear even your cry
So as sure as the sun will shine
I'm gonna get my share now, what's mine
And then the harder they come
The harder they fall, one and all
Ooh, the harder they come
The harder they fall, one and all
Well, the oppressors are trying to keep me down
Trying to drive me underground
And they think that they have got the battle won
I say forgive them Lord, they know not what they've done
'Cause, as sure as the sun will shine
I'm gonna get my share now, what's mine
And then the harder they come
The harder they fall, one and all
Ooh, the harder they come
Harder they fall, one and all
And I keep on fighting for the things I want
Though I know that when you're dead you can't
But I'd rather be a free man in my grave
Than living as a puppet or a slave
So as sure as the sun will shine
I'm gonna get my share now, what's mine
And then the harder they come
The harder they fall, one and all
Ooh, the harder they come
Harder they fall, one and all
Hey, the harder they come
The harder they fall, one and all
Hey, the harder they come
The harder they fall, one and all
Hey, the harder they come
The harder they fall, one and all
And in my mind’s ear, that was Alhaji Atiku Abubakar chirping “I'm gonna get my share now, what's mine”, and by “what's mine”, he meant the ticket as the PDP’s Presidential Candidate. Of course, by “ what's mine” he also meant and still means The PRESIDENCY OF NIGERIA and most certainly, he still hasn't given up , and by “ I'm gonna get my share now, what's mine” - by “ MY SHARE”, he means, “ The fruits of office” , “ The Sweets of Office” .In Krio, the saying is, “POWER SWEET”
So Alhaji Atiku is desperate. He has spent heavily. “We Undertook This Journey At Great Cost” At the very least, he would like to get his money back. All of it. But, sorry, all da money has gone down the drain. For nothing. But there are some people around him, egging him on and still draining some money out of him, giving him hope
“That can do what’s never been done
That can win what’s never been won”
Everyone knows how desperate he is. That’s why it was so funny for some others, painful, listening to Alhaji Atiku at that press conference yesterday, standing up there as a world’s statesman and trying to keep a straight face, declaring
” Our elections are established and governed by law and founded on the constitution from which leadership and government in Nigeria alone derive their legitimacy. The people look up to us as leaders to respect these rules and, where necessary, to defend them…I am a democrat by conviction “
Why then did he not respect the PDP constitution?
Why did he ride roughshod over the PDP constitution which stipulates zoning and power rotation?
Why did he, like a dictator, impose himself on the party, as their presidential candidate when it was the turn for someone from the South?
Was he being democratic then?
What does he want?
He would like INEC and the Supreme Court of Nigeria to unseat President Tinubu and declare Alhaji Atiku Abubakar the winner and swear him in as the rightful President of the Republic of Nigeria.
He is still dreaming
“You got some big dreams baby, but in order to dream you gotta still be asleep.”
For some satire in reply, I would like to hear from his scribe
