Nigeria is getting better  if I am to go by the guardian newspaper report October 11 2023 by Tina Abeju that the federal governents intends to boost the numbers of fire fugters way beyond the present 6000.

They reason that in the usa there are one miliion  plus fire fighters then my imagination  runs wild! Thank you!

But please remember you  are also in charge   of the correctional centres. So I would like to suggest you assemble a crop of Architects,social workers and human rights activists to deliberate  of what  the architecture of a correctional centre should look like in the second decade of the 21st century nigeria.. Presently you have 9000 inmates squeezed into space meant for 1500 inmates.mans inhumanity to man.

Correctional centres are not meant to kill the inmates o or to crush them.or to pollute or  corrupt minds.they are meant to rehabilitate them for normal life.

So my suggestions include  guidance and counselling experts, libraries for leisure reading and academics,vocational and technical units,television hall or cinema, sports and recreation centre and more for the Architecture of a correction centre.

Finally you are in charge  of immigration or the borders you may want  to read Boys at the Borders by wale okediran,wole soyinka prize winner and secretary General of pan African writers Congress.there can also be writers clubs within the correctional centres.
