Ms. Kaosarat Aina to Interview Imam Ahmad
Ms. Kaosarat Aina is a budding linguist and highly motivated student of knowledge. She graduated with first class honors from the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, University of Ibadan, and recently completed her studies for a master’s degree in the same department. Kaosarat is a recipient of several awards, honors, and prizes including:
- University Scholarship, University of Ibadan, 2018
- Plaque for First Class Honours, Faculty of Arts, University of Ibadan, 2017
- Departmental Prize to the Best Final Year Student, Department of Linguistics and
African Languages, University of Ibadan, 2017
- Deans Prize for the Best Students in the Faculty of Art, University of Ibadan, (An Endowment by Mrs Judith Asein), 2017
- Emeritus Professor Ayo Bamgbose Prize for the Best Graduating Student in the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, University of Ibadan, 2017
- Dr Raymond Zard Prize for the Best Graduating Student in the Department of Linguistics and African Languages, University of Ibadan, 2017
- Award for the Best Student Personality, Department of Linguistics and African Languages, University of Ibadan, 2015
- Award for Academic Excellence, Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, University of Ibadan, 2013-2015
Kaosarat also held several positions of leadership and responsibility, during her undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the University of Ibadan including:

Kaosarat currently teaches at the Center for General Studies, University of Ibadan, and serves as Secretary to the Jury on J.A. Atanda Prize for the Best Essay on the Yoruba.
