If it was France that was going to lead such a force the reception committee at Port-au-Prince would probably be in a different mood altogether

Don’t forget the u.s. already went in an imposed a regime on haiti and the domenican republic in the past, and in haiti left in charge the worst of the worst: papa doc. It isn’t french hegemony in haiti that is at issue. Thanks for this posting cornelius: it appears the kenyans will be paid to do the dirty work by the americans. In the old days, it was just the marines….
