i have a recent article in french on this. it is basically a report on chinese research, extensive, and probably the best currently available.

i will post it here. the essence is, it might work, but if you try self-dosing you can kill yourself. they are not yet willing to say this is the magic cure--they said, not yet, and further tests needed. some people will die from taking, especially if they take an overdose. you can't take it in trials now in china unless you are aged 17-65 and not pregnant. in one case someone took it and died quickly; another woman self-dosed and wound up in intensive care. she took 1.8 grams, and the prescribed amount is actually slightly more than that.

in other words, people rushing out to the pharmacy and self-dosing are risking a lot.

also, it is supposed to be taken for 10 days, another reason not to start self-dosing.

People are self medicating with chloroquine because the doctors are not fully embracing the so called "clinical trials" and people do not want to die, since there is no approved vaccine for the cure of the virus.

The medical profession and the vaccines approving authorities should play less politics with the matter.

agreed, but whether it is safe, how much to take, when to take it...these really should not be answered except under the care of a doctor, or else you might wind up harming yourself
