Witch images are diverse, both in Africa and the West,
including both old women-the hag image-and young women, who may be beautiful,
although in both contexts, perhaps contemporary Africa, and certainly
contemporary Nigeria and pre-modern Europe, the unattractive old woman
stereotype seems dominant.
how can magic be rebranded as African science and witchcraft as an African craft?
your approach reminds me of the swiss psychologist philosopher of spirituality and culture carl jung who studied coincidences calling meaningful coincidences synchronicities
do coincidences indicate something about cosmic order
perhaps
can one gain from studying coincidences
yes
how does one arrive at a comprehensive understanding of them and their significance
an open qs
