Job Description – Databricks Martech Data Architect

We are looking for a strong Databricks Martech Data Architect / Lead Data Engineer to act as the bridge between CX/Marketing teams and Data Engineering teams. The role focuses on designing customer-centric data models, enabling marketing activation use cases, and supporting integrations with Salesforce Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design scalable customer data models and data products using Databricks
• Work with marketing/CX teams to define data requirements for personalization, segmentation, customer journeys, and activation
• Collaborate with engineering teams on schema design, governance, lineage, and data quality
• Support zero-copy integrations between Databricks and Salesforce Data Cloud
• Understand and map semantic differences between Data Cloud and Databricks data models
• Work on API integrations, access controls, and customer data governance

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Databricks
  • Spark / PySpark
  • SQL
  • Delta Lake
  • Data modeling & schema design
• Experience with customer/marketing data platforms (CDP/Martech)
• Understanding of:
  • Customer 360
  • Longitudinal customer data
  • Personalization & audience activation
  • Data governance and lineage
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.

 

Preferred

• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or similar CDP platforms
• Experience working with APIs and semantic data mapping across platforms
