Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Business Data & Systems Analyst (TVC) to support our Business Systems Analyst (BSA) team. This role will focus on projects within the Data Warehouse domain, with a particular emphasis on analyzing and preparing data for key initiatives, including AI-driven Workforce Planning (WFP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong data background, a business systems analysis mindset, and engaged with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), People data in the past..
Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with the lead BSA and other team members to deliver on project goals.
- Analyze, document, and map business processes, data flows, and system requirements, primarily within the Finance domain.
- Perform data analysis using tools like SQL and Google Sheets to identify trends, anomalies, gaps, and data quality issues.
- Assist in defining data requirements and contribute to data modeling efforts to support business needs and system enhancements.
- Contribute to the development of functional specifications, user stories, and other project documentation.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) activities, including test case development, execution, and issue tracking.
- Engage with finance stakeholders to gather requirements, understand pain points, and provide support.
- Develop a working knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) processes and how data supports them.
- Contribute to efforts aimed at ensuring financial and WFP data is high quality, well-documented, and "AI-ready."
Minimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools (e.g., SQL, advanced spreadsheet functions).
- Ability to learn new systems and business processes quickly and work independently.
- Direct experience working with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) teams, processes, or systems (e.g., Anaplan, SAP BPC).
- Understanding of data governance, data quality, data warehousing, and master data management concepts.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear and concise requirements for technical teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation.
