Senior Network Security Engineer (Traveling) (MUST INTERVIEW ONSITE)

Rate: $70/hr. on C2C with some flex

Location: Miami, FL with 30-40% shipboard travel

Type: 6-month contract to hire

 

JD:

• They are responsible for working on contributing to the design and implementation of enterprise security strategies, architectures, and solutions to protect the company's network and meet security and compliance requirements.
• The Manager is looking for someone strong in 3 Key Areas
• Experience with firewalls Palo alto (tangible experience – wants to see what did you do with it)
• Understanding of cloud deployments ideally Azure (tangible experience – wants to see what did you do with it)
• Wants experience with both layers(not just networking):
• Network infrastructure side
• Computing/Systems side
• Automation (tangible experience – wants to see what did you do with it)
• Should have strong Knowledge on scripting and can showcase of how it helped vs talking about simple scripts they can just find online
• 5+ years Designing & implementing large-scale network security infrastructure both on-prem and cloud required. 
• 5+ years Deploying, migrating & automating the network security infrastructure in large-scale environments required. 
• 5+ years Design and management of centralized multi-vendor firewalls required. 
• Generic knowledge of Network security concepts in Virtualization platforms such as Kubernetes & VMware.
