Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Cloud Finance Consultant to support and enhance Oracle Financials applications. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (or Oracle EBS R12), with hands-on experience across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Subledger Accounting (SLA), and Financial Reporting.
This role will work closely with Finance Controllers, Accounting teams, and business stakeholders to support day-to-day financial operations, month-end close activities, production support, and finance process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance Controllers, Accounting teams, and business stakeholders to understand financial processes and business requirements.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle ERP Cloud functional solutions.
- Facilitate workshops, solution design discussions, and process improvement initiatives.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities.
- Perform journal entry validation, posting, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, accruals, and financial adjustments.
- Ensure accurate execution of financial reporting and close cycle activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.
- Develop and maintain reports using Oracle reporting tools including BI Publisher, OTBI, and SQL.
- Provide production support by troubleshooting functional issues and resolving incidents.
- Recommend finance best practices and process optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business enhancements and system improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Financials or Oracle E-Business Suite (R12).
- Strong functional expertise in:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Fixed Assets (FA)
- Subledger Accounting (SLA)
- Experience supporting financial close processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle reporting tools including BI Publisher, OTBI, and SQL-based reporting.
- Good understanding of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes.
- Experience providing production support and incident resolution.
