Tittle: Performance Test Architect – SAP S/4HANA
Location: San Francisco, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months
Pay - $65/c2c - $70/c2c
We are hiring a Performance Test Architect / Lead to drive end-to-end performance engineering for large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
This role will own performance testing from scoping and NFR definition through design, execution, and final sign-off, working closely with business, functional, and technical stakeholders.The ideal candidate should combine deep SAP expertise, performance engineering skills, and strong stakeholder communication abilities.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
✅ 1. Scoping & Stakeholder Engagement
• Lead performance scoping workshops with business and IT teams
• Understand functional flows, integrations, and scope boundaries
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define:
o Critical business processes
o Peak usage scenarios
o Volume and concurrency expectations
• Drive alignment across functional, technical, infrastructure, and architecture teams

✅ 2. NFR & Performance Strategy Definition
• Define Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs):
o Response time SLAs
o Throughput, latency, concurrency
o Batch windows and integration SLAs
• Create Performance Test Strategy & Test Plan
• Establish entry/exit criteria and success metrics

✅ 3. Test Architecture & Design
• Design end-to-end performance testing approach for:
o SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, SCM, MM, etc.)
o SAP Fiori / SAP GUI
o Integrations (APIs, middleware)
o Batch processes
• Develop workload models reflecting real user behavior
• Define test scenarios including:
o Load testing
o Stress testing
o Endurance testing
o Volume and integration testing

✅ 4. Execution Leadership & Delivery
• Lead performance test cycles (baseline, stabilization, final validation)
• Oversee:
o Script development
o Test data preparation
o Execution scheduling
• Ensure high-quality execution and reporting across cycles

✅ 5. Performance Analysis & Optimization
• Analyze performance metrics and identify:
o Application bottlenecks
o Database issues
o Infrastructure constraints
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive performance tuning and fixes
• Provide actionable recommendations for optimization

✅ 6. Tools & Observability
• Hands-on or strong experience with:
o LoadRunner (Primary)
o NeoLoad (Good to have)
• Exposure to monitoring/observability tools such as:
o Dynatrace / Datadog / ELK (nice to have)
• Ability to correlate application, infrastructure, and DB metrics

• Act as the single point of contact for performance engineering
• Present status, risks, and recommendations to leadership
• Engage confidently with:
o Business stakeholders
o Architects
o Infrastructure and BASIS teams
• Translate technical findings into business impact

Location: Plano , Texas (Onsite)

Top 3 Required Skills:
Please list 5 mandatory “MUST HAVE” skills and experience for this requirement. Please include skills related to technical as well as domain and non-technical skills and experience as applicable to the position.
• Minimum 12+ years of IT experience and a minimum of 10+ years’ experience in designing and developing applications using PEGA PRPC technologies. Java/J2EE experience is added advantage.
• Should have lead end to end Pega Infinity application architecture, including case management, data modeling, integration, and UI strategy.
• Should have hands on & design/implementation experience with DX API–based front end integrations for web and mobile channels (React, Angular, or other UI frameworks).
• Exposure to Pega Constellation architecture and low code fusion delivery
• Experience in defining and governing application guardrails, reusable components, and performance standards.
• Experience in building PEGA REST service APIs, and SOAP services.
• Experience in consuming WSDLs and building JMS services/listeners.
• Guide and mentor System Architects and Senior Developers, performing design and code reviews.
• Strong knowledge of PEGA authentication methods, and experience in implementing PEGA IAC/MashUP solutions.
• Should possess very good communication skills.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) development methodology.
• Should be LSA certified.
