Location: Remote in US 
Duration: Long term contract

Job Summary
We are seeking the D365 Finance Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance solutions. This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-performing financial systems aligned with business objectives, while guiding technical teams and stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.

Experience range – 15 – 18 years

Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture
Design end-to-end architecture for D365 Finance (F&O) solutions.

Define system integrations with external applications and enterprise platforms.

Ensure alignment with business, security, and compliance requirements.

Implementation & Delivery
Lead D365 Finance implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.

Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs.

Oversee configurations, customizations, and extensions.

Financial Process Expertise
Provide deep expertise in finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cash & Bank).

Optimize financial processes and ensure best practices.

Technical Leadership
Guide developers, functional consultants, and DevOps teams.

Establish coding standards, design principles, and governance frameworks.

Review technical designs and ensure quality delivery.

Integration & Data Management

Design integrations using APIs, Azure services, and middleware.

Define data migration strategies and ensure data integrity.

Performance & Security
Ensure system performance, scalability, and availability.

Implement security models and compliance standards.

Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, and IT teams.

Provide architectural guidance and solution recommendations

Qualification
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Finance, or related field.

8–15 years of experience in ERP systems, with strong focus on D365 Finance.

Proven experience as a Solution/Technical Architect in D365 F&O projects.

Strong understanding of:

Financial processes and accounting principles

D365 Finance modules and architecture

Azure services and integrations

Experience with:

X++, Power Platform, and extensions

Data migration tools and strategies

DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills
Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 Finance or Solution Architecture.

Experience with global implementations and multi-entity environments.

Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
