Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned SAP Test Strategy Manager with strong SAP FICO expertise to lead end-to-end testing strategy, governance, and quality assurance for large-scale SAP transformation programs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience across enterprise SAP initiatives within the Pharma / Life Sciences industry and the ability to engage confidently with business, IT, and program leadership stakeholders.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile:

A strategic testing leader who combines deep SAP FICO knowledge, enterprise-scale quality governance, and strong communication skills to deliver structured, compliant, and business-ready outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Define and govern the overall SAP testing strategy across SIT, UAT, regression, integration, cutover, and hypercare.
* Lead testing coverage for core SAP FICO processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Costing, Controlling, and period-end close.

* Drive planning, scope, estimation, schedule control, defect governance, and quality reporting for large SAP programs.

* Partner with business process owners, SAP leads, system integrators, and delivery teams to ensure end-to-end test readiness.

* Establish quality gates, status dashboards, issue escalation paths, and risk management across workstreams.

 

 

 

 

Required Skills:

 

12+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on test strategy, test management, and quality assurance.
* Strong hands-on knowledge of SAP FICO and finance process integration across enterprise SAP landscapes.

* Mandatory experience on SAP projects in the Pharma / Life Sciences industry.

* Proven track record on large, multi-workstream, multi-vendor SAP transformation or implementation programs.

* Experience with SAP Solution Manager, Tricentis, HP ALM, JIRA, or similar tools.

* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capability.

 

Preferred Experience:

 

Exposure to SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
* Understanding of GxP, CSV, CSA, validation documentation, and audit readiness needs.

* Experience working with global teams and senior program leadership.
