• Digital retail experience (understanding website and checkout process)
• Product management experience (long-term experience)
• Ability to speak the language of technology partners
• Other Technical Skills:
• Experience working with payment processors (or banking background)
• Understanding of customer journey in e-commerce
• Roadmap ownership and sequencing based on value (RICE scoring)
• Building out epics and doing socialization with PO and engineers
• Acting as a translator between business and technology

Plusses

• Helpful Technical Skills:
• Payments experience (can be taught if digital retail experience is present)
• Experience with fraud vendors (specifically understanding vendor swap processes)
• Adyen payment processor experience (not required)

Day to Day

• Daily Responsibilities:
• Oversee promotions, fraud, and payments within the buy space.
• Support changing the current fraud vendor (Count) to a new one.
• Hold discovery sessions with technology partners and vendors.
• Deprecate the old fraud vendor.
• Learn the rest of the buy space.
• Work on promotions clarity in the cart and checkout process.
• Improve fulfillment process to make checkout faster.
• Represent and help prioritize the total buy backlog (especially when the other PDM is on maternity leave).
• Work with e-commerce and store fraud teams to address marketplace fraud issues.
• Consultant Achievements:
• Successfully transition fraud vendors.
• Improve customer checkout experience.
• Support the team during another PDM's maternity leave.
