How about writing down the funniest thing you've heard or yelled at the
ballpark!

Lets hear em.

Back when Paul O'Neill played for the Reds I was in the Right Field seats
behind him, had a few beers and was yelling to him and he would turn and
wave.... the crowd was pleased... then I yelled "Paul you sure make a great
sandwich!"

I remember one time was watching the Indians play the A's and rickey
henderson was playing leftfield. Well the crowd was of cours hooting and
hollering at him trying to get his goat but at the most he just smiled.
The my friend started yelling (in a beer/food vendor voice) "Hey Rickey!,
Wanna hot dog?". Well it's not the funny part but Rickey's reaction was.
He turns around and for a full minute scans the crowd with this pissed
off/confused look.

Another time thought this isn't so nice during the time when the story
broke on Pete Rose and gambling, Pete Rose Jr. played for my city's minor
leagure team. Well his first at bat my friend yells "I bet 2 to 1 he
strikes out" loud as can be. But from where he was sitting no-one caught
on it was him except for friends and such. Next day the sports section of
the local paper has an Article all about the game and in big type under the
title is my friends dig.

In article <362F6CAA...@erie.net>,

I was at an Arena Football game (Oh, the ignominy - but it was a free ticket)
in Columbus (they had a team for a week or something) when Art Schlister's
(sp?) team was in town. I was expecting all the sappy crap for the home-town
boy returning, instead, guys in the front row were waving betting tickets at
him the whole game. Kinda brutal for Art, but...eh, what did I care.
