I recently looked at my grandfathers discharge papers. There are a few
things on it that I don't understand. I hope someone can help me.

1.) Normandy Northern France
GO 33 WD 45

2.) Rhinel and Ardennes
GO 40 WD 45

3.) Central Europe
GO 48 WD 45

4.) Purple Heart
GO 60 Hq 4th.

also what is EAMET? On his papers is says "Wounds received in Action
EAMET Sept. 16,1944"

No Time Lost Under AW 107
ASR Score 86/

Please help me if you can. My grandfather, may he rest in peace passed
away 9/6/10 at 11:58am. He is my hero and always will be.

The above are ribbons or medals that he was eligible to wear.

(could the "wounds" statement be connected with #4 Purple Heart,
and the EAMET be #5 ?)

From elsewhere:
What is EAMET on World War 2 discharge papers?
It indicates the veteran was awarded the Europe-Africa-Middle East Theater
(EAMET) Campaign Medal. The medal was awarded for any service performed
between December 7, 1941 and March 2, 1946 provided such service was
performed in the geographical theater areas of Europe, North Africa, or the
Middle East.

I believe the "GO" means "General Order".
Sorry I can not help more.
