Description: Pennsburg Manor, Genesis HealthCare, is a skilled nursing center located in nothern Montgomery county in quaint Pennsburg, PA. The center is at the crossroads of three counties: Berks, Buck and Montgomery. We are conveniently less than 5 miles from the northeast extension of the PA turnpike and less than a half mile from Routes 29/663.
We are seeking a licensed practical nurse to join our nursing team full-time on the 3-11 shift. Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday.

In conjunction with the ADN/Unit Director, the Licensed Practical Nurse utilizes a general understanding of the principles of nursing and basic physical assessment skills in the development of and implementation of individualized nursing care plans to ensure that the needs of the customers are met. He/she assists in the orientation of and supervision of nursing personnel, attends to the daily operations of the unit on a per shift, unit level, and assumes responsibilities of a leadership role.

The Licensed Practical Nurse must be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing and must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
Experience is preferred in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing.
