Responsibilities: Reporting to the Managing Principal, the Senior Electrical Project Engineer will be responsible for the following: Leading and assist managing the electrical engineering discipline in the office. Provide technical leadership on a wide range of data and mission critical projects in financial services, government, and other industry segments. Work closely with project teams and clients to define scope and involvement could include: - Programming - Documentation - Developing criteria with the client - System Conceptualization - Developing system alternatives and supporting equipment selection - Field observations and commissioning support A supporting role in marketing and business development assisting Business Development on technical issues. Aggressively grow and promote the Electrical Engineering services to specified market sectors. Fostering, coaching, and leading the team technically while facilitating professional development.
Qualifications: Minimum of 10 years experience required, licensed PE a plus. Bachelor's Degree from accredited university in Electrical discipline (U.S. P.E. or E.I.T. will be accepted in lieu of the above) Experience working within an engineering department of a mission critical company or A/E firm a plus. Experience conducting presentations and knowledge of the industry. Proficiency in the latest version of AutoCAD. Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project SKM Powertools, EDSA or ETAP experience is desirable
