Description: Responsibilities for the Senior Manager - Private Equity include:
- Ensuring integrity and completeness of financial records, including transaction processing, reconciliations and the establishment of accounting processes and policies
- Maintaining accounting records for corporate entities
- Preparing entity consolidating financial statements to include preparation and posting of general ledger journal entries
- Managing the relationship with the finance teams of the assets to ensure that they provide the necessary information on a timely basis
- Preparing annual financial reports
- Providing quarterly reports to investors
- Providing monthly management reports to the boards
- Responding to general accounting support ad hoc requests
- Coordinating information flow from third parties
- Preparing tax calculations, maintaining tax records and liaising with tax advisers
- Researching and resolving technical accounting issues
- Forecasting cash flow
- Providing cash management of excess cash
- Preparing quarterly unit pricing
- Calculating base and performance fees
- Moving cash within the investment vehicles entities
- Managing drawdowns from investors and payments of distributions
- Producing annual financial and tax statements
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of private equity accounting experience
- Partnership accounting experience
- CPA
