JOB GROUP SUMMARY Customer Service is the important first-line of contact with customers, setting the tone for how members, doctors and plan sponsor groups view our company. EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience. FUNCTIONAL WORK EXPERIENCE - Customer Service: Customer service and claims - production environment - Claims: Claims Administration coordination of benefits (COB) verification - Claims: Claim processing Medical REQUIRED SKILLS - Develop effective relationships with plan sponsors - Research and resolve eligibility related issues regarding member specific information - Interpersonal Communication - Ensuring Ethical Decisions - Handling Service Challenges DESIRED SKILLS - Microsoft Excel - Collaborating for Results POSITION SUMMARY Under general supervision, verifies enrollment status, makes changes to member/client records, and addresses a variety of enrollment questions or concerns. Maintains enrollment databases and coordinates transfer of non-electronic eligibility data. ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION Candidate needs to have basic computer literacy. Preferred experience with Word, Excel, and Access. Candidate needs to have attention to detail and be able to multi-task. Candidate needs to be able to proactively identify and communicate potential issues to management. This is a production environment and dependable attendance is a necessity.
