I have more than ten years experience in the development of networked
database systems, utilizing products such as dBASE III Plus, FoxPro/DOS,
FoxPro for Windows, Visual FoxPro, and Borland Delphi.
Projects
Manufacturing Extension Partnership
Created a client and project tracking system for a non-profit
manufacturer's technology center using Borland Delphi 2.0.

well as customer billings and marketing statistics for a total of 25
journals.

The system manages resumes and letters to recruits, and provides for
queries on technical skills, geographic areas, availability, salary ranges,
etc.

vertical market software distribution company to address the needs of the
electrical contracting and supply industry, using FoxPro for Windows.
Trucking
Wrote a "C" language library to be run from FoxPro 2.5 for DOS which
accesses a Unix-based database system called MicroMileMaker, and does
mileage and routing lookups based on user-defined criteria. Used by a
trucking company with more than 90 truck terminals.

at a major teaching hospital using Borland Delphi 2.0.
Developed a prototype clinical documentation and patient education system
in FoxPro DOS Version 2.5.
Developed an EKG tracking system for a large regional hospital using Visual
FoxPro 3.0.
Purchasing
Independently developed an MRO purchasing system in FoxPro DOS 2.5 The
system includes modules to handle supply requests, purchase
requests, requests for quotation, bids, purchase orders, inventory, vendors,
receipts, and disbursements.
Purchasing
Served as product manager and lead programmer for a vertical-market MRO
purchasing system marketed worldwide. Created customized versions of the
system for such clients as Teleglobe Canada, Home Insurance, American Home
Products, ChemNuclear, Becton Dickinson, Siemens Medical Systems, Radio
City Music Hall, Hitachi, Honeywell Microswitch, Magnavox, Whirlpool,
Harris Corporation, R.R. Donnelly, McGraw-Hill, and many more.
Systems Programming
Developed a dBASE III file-compatible database management system in the
Pascal language which was distributed worldwide from 1988 to 1993.
Distributed in Europe by Borland International with the Turbo Pascal
product. In use throughout the US and Canada, as well as Germany, Finland,
Sweden, Japan, Czechoslovakia, England, Holland, France, Australia, New

by the German Bundespost and the Post Office on the island of New
Caledonia. The toolbox is used in teaching computer science courses at
Oxford University in England, McGill University in Montreal, and Copernicus
University in Poland.
