And bring it in to a server room inside the office. The network was 10baseT and needed to be upgraded to 100baseT and install a patch panel in stead of home runs from hub to NICs. The project was completed in less then nine hours.

 I had many accomplishments while working at CyberOffice Technologies LLC, three accomplishments really stand out in my mind. The first is when I was asked to design and build a network for five offices and one classroom and four podiums for the Comdex Show in Las Vegas in November 1998. This included six Microsoft pavilion booths using one computer and six NEC Monitors. I had to lay the cat-5 cable terminate both ends as home runs from the Hubs to the NICs for each computer. I Built three NT4.0 Servers 1 as a PCD, 1 as a BDC, and 1 as a stand alone IIS Server. On the BDC is where I put the DHCP server. I built nine different workstations 5 NT4.0 Workstations, 4 Windows98 workstations. What was so amazing I had three days to build this project in my first test lab so all the different departments could be trained on the system before taking it Comdex show. I installed all the needed application software including COT’s own OEM accounting software.
 The second was my first training classroom using 10 dual bootable Nt4.0 and Windows98 workstations and 1 NT4.0 PDC that had DHCP Server on the server. The classroom was a separate network from the rest of the CyberOffice network. This classroom was uses to train Vars that where going to sell our accounting software.
 The third was repairing a lost Raid5 strip in a six bay hot swappable storage cage. There where six 9gb hard drive that where Raid5 and the last one was the hot swap drive. We had some corrupted data that made the array loss it strip. The first thing is to view the channel where the raid5 is. The second thing is to find what bay the bad hard drive is in. Then scanning the drive will check for any physical damage to the hard drive. If there is no damage then low format the hard drive. Then rebuild the strip on the newly formatted hard drive by using the other four hard drives. Once the rebuilding is completed and working properly. Then set the last drive to hot swappable and the project is done.
 Working with Cisco Fast 300 Hubs, Routers, Switches and DSU \ CSUs. Working with Level 3 our ISP and Pacific Bell for T1 Implantation.
 The installation of DHCP Server and setting its scope. Then assigning static IP addresses to all servers, printer servers and copy machines used on our LAN.
 I have also moved offices from one location to another,
 Rewired rj45 jacks 300 of them, upgraded local areas network from a 10baseT to a 100baseT network and made 100 patch cables.
 Installed local printers and network printers, hp laser printers 4plus, SIII, 4L, 5L, 1100, hp desk jet printer, 680c, 672c, 720c, HP color scanner, and shared them locally so they could be seen on the network.
