Welcome To The Future - 5/96-9/96
Duties of engineering department manager involved in the development of advanced web browser technology and interactive television set top boxes. Primary thrust was cost reduction of prototype set top box. Provided plan to decrease COG from $1600 to under $500 through FPGA/ASIC development program. Secondary goal - provided a detailed configuration management and quality control system for ongoing development programs.
American Systems Corporation - 10/95-3/96
Designed digital video data base / editing system for DOD project. Developed integration plan, analyzed training requirement, Wrote procedures for above system and shipboard CATV system.
Eon Corp. - 2/95-6/95
Duties of engineering department manager involved in the development of advanced PCS, DSP, and interactive technologies. Primary thrust was cost reduction of prototype set top box and PCS device.

Allied Bendix/Ford Aerospace - 1984-1986
Field Engineer
Planned video coverage for 15 manned space flights, test and check out of TDRS 1, quality control and technical analysis of entire NASA video system used in the STS program.
Video Systems Consultant Years Employed 1982-1984
Gray Communications Consultants Daytona Beach, FL
Designed and sold video systems to 200+ clients in a 7 county central Florida territory. Systems included video conferencing, medical, simulator, HDTV (MUSE), Industrial and broadcast video production systems, interactive training systems, and associated audio systems. Systems included analog and digital, as well as hybrid packages.

Mr. Chase was employed by three commercial television stations in positions of increasing responsibility beginning with engineering/operations, to transmitter engineer and culminating in the position of Chief Engineer of a major Florida Station. During this period he was involved in the development of the first automation system used in a commercial television station, assisted in the design and redesign of three television stations, helped re-engineer the curricula of a community college, contributed to the writing of a career guidance book used in schools nationwide.
