Mactapes Ltd is a textile manufacturer specialising in the production of narrow fabrics mainly curtain tapes and webbings. I have experienced all aspects of the job from the beaming, weaving, engineering and maintenance to my present position which involves analysis of tapes and the research and development of new tapes.
I have recently been involved in the patenting of a product for Mactapes for which several machine companies have shown an interest.
My main experience has been with Bonas type looms which I can adapt to do most tapes without trouble, but I also have minimal experience with Müller NC and NF. I am due to expand my knowledge on the Müller machines during several forthcoming training courses which I will attend at Müller, Frick in the very near future.
