One of the biggest wholesale produce company and a major exporter of fresh vegetables.
· Responsible for contracting yearly supply of fruit and vegetables, transport to Bucharest and storage of produce for short or long term in company’s warehouses. Managed an inventory turnover of about $175 millions.
· Handled all aspects of export logistics: Marketing, Negotiations, Finance, Shipping and Documentation.
· Overseen the main operations of 12 warehouses (with over 1,500 employees) specialized in short and long term storage of produce. Planned, organized and follow-up yearly winter/spring long term storage and quality assurance of 30,000 tons potatoes, 3,500 tons onions, 5,000 tons apples, 250 tons raisins and 500 tons other vegetables.
