I completed two years training program in Official Statistics
and related areas of Statistics. After completion of training
I was posted as Deputy Assistant Director at Directorate of
National Malaria Eradication Programme, New Delhi.

Research Experience:

Over fifteen years in the area of "Stochastic modelling and
analysis of queueing systems". I have worked on transient solution
of Markovian queues, computational aspects of non-Markovian bulk
and non-bulk queueing models, discrete-time queues with bulk and
non-bulk arrival/service.
Under the collaborative research plan, I have visited Department
of Mathematics and Computer Science, Royal Military College,
Kingston, Canada, in various capacities during the periods:
(i) Aug. 1989-July 1990, (ii) Dec. 1993 - Dec. 1994,
(iii) June 20 - July 20.1996, (iv) May 25 - July 4, 1997
(v) June 5 - July 22, 1998 and (vi) June 24 - July 23, 1999.

Teaching Experience:
I have taught various courses to engineering/science students at
undergraduate (B.Tech.) and Postgraduate (M.Tech.) levels. Besides,
I have also taught advance level Statistics courses to M.Sc.
(Mathematics) students. In particular,
